My intercooler will be here Friday. Hopefully I have time this weekend to install. I'll show you guys what it takes to install.

Ok so you went with eco pro....nice! If can put up what you needed to do to make it fit:thumbsup:
The "Private Label" is the Eco Economy. The Garrett Core is the Pro. I went with the Pro btw.

Ohhh my bad...nice! I'm still on the fence the price tag is a bit hefty but gotta pay if you want to play right, anyhow I'll keep an eye out for your install

I'm sure with the stock turbo the economy core will do the job perfect, probably even with an upgraded turbo. But I want big power down the road so better to go big now.

I thought the same but my concern is more with the heat portion living in southern Texas especially with summer heat coming...Anyhow may pull the trigger & order mine..?

Meth/Water AND IC?

I just ordered a meth water injection kit (sprays into the turbo inlet). I've researched the pros and cons for a month so I know it's what I want to do.

My question is this: Do I still need to buy an aftermarket IC? I know the meth/water injection will reduce my temps enough to not need an aftermarket IC to maintain temps, but what about airflow? Does the stock IC restrict airflow to the point that not enough air is making it to the turbo, even it's being cooled at the turbo?

Another options would be to buy the smaller intercooler or maybe even keep the stock one and put a mister on it or some even spray a small shot of nitrous over the surface. Granted, you have to refill the bottle or the reservoir, but it does cool it down, especially if drag racing the car. Options are good.

Just a thought.
