Please educate me on why scatter shields are not used anymore and how boosted Coyote Mustangs and other modern cars on slicks (hard launches) are ripping down the drag strip in sub-10 second 1/4 mile times with no shields or blankets to contain clutch/flywheel shrapnel? Don't most track rules still require scatter shields?
