Does anyone know offhand the size of the intake opening on the 18gt? I know the throttle body is 80 but I was looking into what throttle body is best if any at all because I would be porting the opening of my manifold to match whatever size it is. I was thinking they would match but I wanted to be sure

What is the end goal of what you are trying to do? I don't think there is much benefit to messing with the stock TB on 2018/19 cars.

Max power on my 18gt but I’m not wanting to spend 2k on a cobra jet setup so I’m gonna port my stock manifold and then go from there

There is very little to be gained porting the throttle body. Port the manifold and call it a day.

There’s nothing to be gained by Air Flow Solutions 5 axis CNC taper bore, blade and shaft modifications to OEM Throttle Body ?

Just them gaining your money for something you think is working.

@Oxford white 10r80 gt Assuming you don't have a tune? That will make a huge difference on your car and the 18+ models really wake up with a "flex tune" if you can source E85 (really more like E50-70) pretty easily.

What do the Summer blends look like in your part of Florida. My first tank was 63%. I only have two stations at a reasonable distance.

I don't know yet! :D

We only just got E85 at a couple of local stations (Gate), and the pump card showed 53-83%, but I'm assuming that's a winter blend[?]

That is a Flex Fuel pump,, Ethanol content can run between 50-80%,

True E85 summer blend is 85%, winter blend 75%

I have a local station with "Flex Fuel" Local guys sez it runs E85 in the summer, I've checked the winter blend 3 times and it's E75. I'll be switching to it as in few weeks after it starts warming up,

You can get the Holley ethanol tester 36-e85qft off feebay for $19
.

So are you saying Flex Fuel is _always_ in [roughly] that range? And that it doesn't deviate, winter vs. summer?

You are correct, it was specifically labeled as FF :)

Is E85 ever sold in anything but Flex?

I found a PDF that indicates the winter blend below the 29th parallel (basically central Florida) is 80% for November through February with the transition back to 85 in February. Only Hawaii has 85 all year.

I have a Racetrack, Sunoco and U-Gas to pick from. Looks like I'm going to be getting some Techron additives if I don't use the Sunoco. http://www.intercepteft.com/online/geographic_ethanol_fuel_blend_guide.pdf

Sorry to the OP for the thread hijack.

AZ doesn't have real e85 we only have flex fuel which usually comes in around e54.
