Do you think its possible to mount the interchiller in an alternate location? I already have an ice tank as well, just looking for options to reduce the need to go get ice like when im just cruising so i dont have to worry about temps with spirted driving.
Yes, I'm not at home right now but I am almost sure it can be mounted on the bottom of the crash bar.

Hey. If you know someone who is installing a Interchiller and needs a CWA400 with -12an male flare ends let me know. I am selling mine for a good price. Never used.

I didn't really read this correctly the other day. My pump is the PWM version which is brushless. Pierberg moved to a LIN type control. Looks as if the LIN version is either on or off unless you have a way to control it. 100% all the time is not recommended in my opinion. It's gonna move alot of water and consume alot of power.
Hey. Do you remember how you connected the controller to your pump? I am getting a CWA200 pump to flow my coolant

The pump has main 12v/neg, and PWM +/-. It's 4 wires.

Thanks.
Kirk called me today and explained why I need to run the cwa400 continuously. He said they did countless test on all types of pumps and the highest efficiency they achieved was with the CWA400 running continuously Without going to a two pump setup..

Efficiency in terms of what exactly? Most tests ive seen were with GM pd blowers. My application is different with centri, a2w and ice tank. I run pump at 75% at the track, IAT usually in the low 60deg range at 28psi of boost.

Brain freeze lol. I didn't realize you were running a Centri. Is it air to water? Without the added heat soaking from a PD, you would probably see 32 degrees. Ask Kirk how their kits work with a Centri?

I have no idea who Kirk is. Yes as stated I run a2w. 32deg would only be achievable at 100% exchanger efficiency, which is not possible. A2a intercooler produced 200deg iat at the stripe. Ambient at start, 200 at stripe. I'm good with low 60s haha.

Nice. Kirk is from FI Interchiller [email protected]. Email him and ask him the questions or concerns you have.

I don't have any questions, my setup is dialed. I asked about the testing to understand more about what you are referencing.
Kirk From FI is the one who discussed their extensive testing on their interchiller system.
