Installed my CDC light bar

So I installed my CDC light bar today. Love the look. On the passenger side there is a little silver box thingy with a plug like a satellite radio antenna. I know I should have gotten pictures while I had it apart. Anyways.... anyone know what that antenna is for?

I remember reading somewhere (likely this site) owners were guessing the function was either GPS, or satellite radio, or related to over the air updates depending on trim level.

Yeah I kinda figured it was for the Nav system . Sattelite radio is on the truck
