so im gathering parts to put on my car soon and im trying to figure out what size injector to run. im seeing alot of people say 47lb and seen a couple 52lb. im new to these cars and the mods. im not looking to run e85/ flex fuel at the moment cause theres only like 1 station around me within like 10 miles of me but would like to have enough injector that if i do want to run it i wont have an issue.

anyways here some info of my car and parts i have or will be coming soon.

2016 GT 6spd non PP
ported 18 manifold
PMAS CAI (tune needed version)
bassani catback
ngauge ( will most likely have get a lund tune unless there are others you guys recommend)

any advice is greatly appreciated.

No need to change injectors with that mod list. I like Lund’s tune.

It's recommended you get the 47 lbs injectors for E85 so the duty cycle isn't almost maxed. It can be done with stock injectors, but Lund will recommend you upgrade to those at least.

Ask Lund. Jon Nardi is very good at getting answers back in a very timely manner. Every tuner has a preference.

LU47 is your best bet unless you plan on boosting down the road. If so and funds aren't a problem get ID1050's and be done with it.

got this today:

Jon Lund (Lund Racing Support)

Mar 20, 4:54 AM EDT

If e85 is going to be used run the LU47. If never going to run it Then leave the injectors stock.

Thanks

Especially with an 18 manifold need 47’s for E. If stock 15-17 mani can keep stock injectors.

I also have a question about this as well

16gt/cs non performance package
Auto
4.10 gears
Roush CAI
Roush H-pipe
GT350 manifold and throttle body
also running a dyno tune NKG Iridium IX Spark Plugs--Heat Range 7
Bob's passenger side oil separator

Would I need to upgrade my fuel injectors? Would it benefit me if I, but didn't need it?

If you are running 91-93 octane pump gas sticking with the factory injectors would be my suggestion since there's no real need for them at that level of build. If you are running E85 you wouldn't necessarily need to change injectors depending on what your calibrator's preferences would be , but a lot of guys prefer the upgraded injectors for E85. Changing to a different injector does require additional tuning though in case you were not aware, so you'd definitely want to get the car tuned further for an injector swap. The 47lb injectors would work for your current setup, but we usually switch to an even larger type of injector such as Injector Dynamics on boosted applications. We can get most any of the injectors available on the market also, so feel free to give us a shout if you'd like to get pricing and we would be happy to help out.
