Silver is a great color but there is one problem with it. I owned a '98 Corvette Coupe since new for 15 years. You cannot hide nicks and scratches in silver paint. Something about how it reflects light and creates craters in the paint that light accentuates.
I had so many on the nose of my Corvette that sometimes I called it "nick" !
That's one reason my GT Premium was ordered in Oxford White which I am learning that white is one of the hardest colors to match. I have yet to find a touch up tube or bottle of Oxford White that matches. Even a pro. paint shop could not match it exactly.
