Silver is a great color but there is one problem with it. I owned a '98 Corvette Coupe since new for 15 years. You cannot hide nicks and scratches in silver paint. Something about how it reflects light and creates craters in the paint that light accentuates.

I had so many on the nose of my Corvette that sometimes I called it "nick" !

That's one reason my GT Premium was ordered in Oxford White which I am learning that white is one of the hardest colors to match. I have yet to find a touch up tube or bottle of Oxford White that matches. Even a pro. paint shop could not match it exactly.

The day I got mine a little over a month ago. After coming from a 14 trackpack GT, I think this suspension is great! But I am looking into the FRPP package, can't beat it for the price from what I've read.

If I could find a shop that I'd trust putting stripes on my car and not cutting my clear coat doing so, this is what I'd do!!!!

I'm obviously biased but i think silver is one of the best colors for this car. It shows off the lines so well. Plus it doesn't show dirt like the darker colors. Which is a huge issue for me in the desert, and the main reason I didn't pick magnetic.
So true about the hiding dirt part. I've owned at least 7 silver cars I guess I'm just boring but it just keeps ending up that way.

A few more of mine with the phone. One of these days I'll get the SLR out and go somewhere worthy.

Yup. Don't know. Something kicked up in front of me. It was dark so I didn't have time to react.

BUT, it did give me reason to buy this! Black mamba from BMC!

Can't wait to get it painted and installed!

Questions to all....
How is your IS paint holding up and what's it like keeping it clean/looking clean?
I'm at my wits end with the black. I'm planning for spring (drive the black through the winter then get new when the weather is nice ) and I'm thinking of trading in on a IS or OW.

Holding up great. I'm a huge fan of silver. I think silver shows the lines of the car better than white. Both hide dirt exceptionally well. Silver does show rock chips a little more.
Keeping it looking clean is the main reason I didn't get the magnetic color. Dark colors look incredible, but show every speck of dust and dirt and look bad very fast. Plus it's so much work to keep from getting/showing swirls. My wife just bought a black suv because we got a cant pass it up deal. But now I'm suffering with each wash and wax. Never again...
