My infotainment system is seems like it's either possesed or it's being manipulated by an invisible passenger. Things seem to work okay, but the screeens toggle all over the place. if I go into the sections and change something, it's as if someone takes over and starts changing things on it's own and going into other sections of that application. I went in to the sound settings to change the midrange setting and the fade and balance controls started moving all over the place without any intervention from me.

I did have the battery run low enough to not start and had to charge it, but it had not been driven in a month leading up to that. Anyone have or seen something similar to this? Vehicle is a 2021 GT500 with the tech package. I'm going to try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, and also see if I can get the latest sync update to start, but beyond that I'm dreading having to bring it to the dealer. Anyone see something like this before?

Sounds like the touch screen is damaged or has contamination causing spurious touches. I would try cleaning the screen with a dampened lint-free cloth. After that, I believe that holding down the radio power and fast-forward buttons at the same time for 5+ seconds will force a restart.

I've tried the sync restart several times already, but I had not tried cleaning the screen. It's worth a shot.
