Thinking about getting 305/35r20 with the Firestone Indy 500 tire... looking for a budget tire and this seems to be the best one! I currently have the phase 1 670 package and in desperate need for a grippier tire. Does anyone have these one their boosted cars? Are they pretty grippy for what they are? Thanks!

If you are FI id go straight to a drag radial.

For daily use, they are a great tire. I prefer them to the Nitto G2's.

Of course they won't offer ultimate grip for a 670hp supercharged GT, but if you feed the throttle in, they should be a good tire for the daily driver.

I run them, and for a street tire they do quite well, especially considering the price. The drag radials will provide a bit better straight line traction, but if you care at all about cornering I wouldn't recommend them. They wear out very fast and the sidewalls are made of chewing gum.
