We're talking about the EAA one, yes?
Yes and I was able to print out the email certificate that has the rebate confirmation number and everything the dealer needs

I'm only seeing the X-Plan Pin and not the rebate on the website. I already signed up and signed in though.

What does EAA stand for? All I can find is the aircraft website and there is no mention of benefits for autos except for rentals. Any help here would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Just to be perfectly clear, I can sign up today and get the $750 rebate within minutes? I'm already a member of MCA, so I know there's a 60 day hold for that membership.
There is NO hold with Mustang Club of America. Last October when I bought my mustang I told them I was going to sign up for MCoA when I 1st started talking with the saleman. He said "No issue"....we worked out all the details then I used his computer to sign up. Then immediately went in from the MCoA website and produced my Xplan pin....too easy!!!

It stands for Experimental Aircraft Association. It is located about 20 minutes south of where I live. They have a huge air show every year that people from all over the world fly in for. Harrison Ford and other celebs usually come every year. Ford has a hanger there and they do a special edition Mustang every year for the big summer air show. This year it was NASA themed.

To be fair, MCA DOES have a 60 day hold. It's just whether or not your dealer cares. Yours didn't. Great. But people should know to ask before they sign up.

EAA stands for Experimental Aircraft Association, so it has nothing to do with cars. However, they have a partnership with Ford. As of yet, I've been unable to find the rebate, so I may have just wasted $40. Maybe they recently got rid of it or became more stringent on the 60 day hold. It was worth the gamble though.

MCA says there is not a 60 day hold but you need to have a membership duration of 60 days which is moot since it's a 1 yr membership.

But MCA is strictly for X-Plan, not some $500+ rebate, right?

Okay, once again I've impressed myself with my own stupidity.

All you do is sign up for EAA, sign up, then go to "Memberships" dropdown menu on the top left, click "Benefits and Discounts", go to "Other Member Benefits & Discounts", click the "Ford Partner Recognition Program", select your region, and it will redirect you to the Ford site. This is where my brain decided to sit on the bench: There is a huge (read: gigantic) advertisement below the generate pin section that says you can "Register Now" for the rebate. All you do is go there, fill out your info at the bottom of the page, and print out the confirmation email.

Sorry for wasting y'all's time, but thank you for all your help. This certificate is clutch.

You think printing the receipt of purchasing our membership would suffice in lieu of the card?

Sorry....you're wrong on this bud...you just need to sign up for a membership that is longer than 60 days. I don't know of 1 person on this site that was made to wait because they weren't a member for 60 days. Hell, you can get your X Plan pin immediately after signing up.

I printed out a copy of the membership page showing my name/address/membership number. Already sent a copy to my dealer.

Really, you could just login at the dealership and show them and have them print the page if they need it for their file.
