how do I get a coupon and how do I get xplan pricing if I already ordered the car? what is it exactly??

So, sitting in my favorite seat in the house, perusing the reading materials my wife leaves behind for horse related cruft. I get to the bottom of the pile and discover a cache of Ford marketing brochures. "What the..."

The 2015 Explorer let me down with the same pre-approved credit offer I keep getting. Next up, the 2015 Escape. It too has the pre-approved credit offer, but it also has $750 with my name on it. Woo Hoo. it expires in December, which is great since my car is In Transit now.

Now I just have to wait to find out if the EAA coupon can be used with this one as well so I can double down.

Heads up. DAV members using x-plan also have a 750 coupon offered on top of x plan pricing. I'm prob missing it but doesn't say you can't have 2 diff ecoupons. Guess more wishful thinking lol

When you log on to the ford partners website and enter the dav xplan code the info for the coupon comes right up as well. If you haven't done your pin yet you can do it there. But right on that first page it gives the link for the coupon fill out brief info and then it generates the page. Print it out and take it with you

They are not the same. The private cash offer is 34672 according to the coupon I was just emailed.

I sent another email to that same address asking a similar question... Let's see what they come back with. I gotta find out soon since I'm going to be taking delivery in a week or two. (I got X-plan through MCA, so I'm not worried about the 60-day limitation, but I WOULD like the $750 coupon, which I believe you can get and use immediately)

So I just got a reply, and the answer was pretty similar to what Qwkynuf was told:

When it comes to compatibilities of programs, your dealership runs a VIN-specific eligibility check at time of delivery to see what rebates can be applied to the sale.

While some programs may be compatible with each other, there is no way to know if other offers you receive might affect that until the compatibility check is done when you take delivery.

I already let souprmage know, but for everyone else:

I got a car yesterday and tried to apply both the EAA $750 coupon and one of a bunch of the brochure offers. I had brochures with 4 different offer codes, and none of them would stack on top of the EAA coupon.

It was worth a shot, and I didn't know when my car purchase would happen, but my brochure offers expire on 11/03. I think for anyone having issues getting a brochure with an offer, the EAA deal is a good way to go since it is valid until 01/05/15.

I would still try to have the dealer apply both if I was buying again. Who knows, maybe some of the offer codes slip through.
