Wow, got your Special Order Convertible "delivered" in just 2 and a half months? I ordered mine on 9/2/14 and it arrived on 1/9/15. Was left in FRAP`s "twilight zone" from 11/23 until it was shipped out during the Holiday Plant Shutdown on 12/27. Guess (timing) is everything. Enjoy! I love mine, in Race Red, of course.

I called the 800 customer service number asking about the $750 and she said it was not available in my area. Can someone chime in on what state you are in and which brochure you requested. I got a Mustang, Taurus and fusion and no $750 private cash. :-(

I'm in Ohio and I got the private cash offer by requesting info by e-mail.

I used a few different e-mail addresses and the e-mail that the offer was sent to was not used to request physical brochures.

My first try i got 3, 2 by brochure and 1 by email. this was with me requesting 9 brochures. I requested over 25 additional after than and never got another one. My dealer had to back date the paperwork to get me the coupon discount. The rebate protection thing was not very relaiable according to the dealer. I called them and they would not give me anything in writing, only a generic statement.

I just requested 6. I am feeling lucky today. I also checked the box for email offers, I assume that is what you guys are doing? I didnt see any link to request brochures by email where you put your info in, just to download a pdf.

I received (2) brochures the other day with the $500 rebate coupon included....but of course it expired 3/31/2015. Along with my XPLAN Pin# I am going to go for the $500 retail cash back and the competitor car rebate that is $750.

The other bonus I get here in Alaska is that any Air/Army Guard personnel get 1 exemption per year for vehicle registration fees.....this will also save me about $500.

So, I have a $750 coupon that ends 5/13/15. The 2016MY Ordering opening date is supposedly 5/11/15. If I order the car on the 11th, would Ford still accept that $750 coupon towards the 2016MY order? Or do you have to have an actual VIN# before it expires? Newbie here, this is my first time ordering a new car.

Your mileage may vary, but when I was contemplating ordering a car the dealership told me my coupon was protected. They didn't know initially so they had to call in and ask about it.

There has been conflicting information said about this issue. In the past (ordering a 2013), dealership employees have said that by calling their regional rep, they were able to get authorizations to protect the "private cash" coupons so that they may be applied after they have expired as long as the car was ordered before the expiration date.
However, recently on this forum, we've had dealership employees say that under no circumstances can these be protected. You must simply request more brochures when the time to pick up the car nears and hope for the best.
Maybe FordService can help set this straight once and for all.

If you'll read through this thread there's a phone number to call to get offers locked in even after they expire. However, all these rebates and cash back offers are specifically for the 2015 model year. I doubt they would allow them to be used for a 2016.

I didn't even think of that till you said that :doh: It does say 2014/2015 models.
