Has anybody tried moving the SD from the rear slot to the front?
Not questioning Moddiction but I just can't find a reason why it shouldn't work as Raxiom, Rosen and my unit are literally the same units and we all use the front SD slot

We hope to be able to offer upgrades for nav if we do change to nextgen Igo. There may be a small fee as we'd have to provide new SD cards with maps loaded already.

Why don't you explain how to enable the front SD slot? By doing this they will be able to update now and also later on at no cost, not waiting, not having to tear the dash apart...

It's doable, very easy.

My unit uses front (and a rear one that I don't use), and btw I have switched twice from the Syn3 theme and the Sync2 theme... So this confirms it is exactly the same unit.

Also, the Nextgen SW and maps for USA have been already posted by another user. In case you provide these, will you provide the license? NextGen needs a license and especially if doing business with it in your units, I recommend to do everything right.

So what's the issue with the current Nav that you "may" need to switch it out? I feel like this unit was rushed out and didn't have all the kinks worked out. The time not working shouldn't even be something we have had to deal with as well as the other small issues. Call me crazy, but I think it's crazy that we would have to pay a small fee for a change to a brand new unit, when you are opting to change the Nav on it, because of what seems like a functionality issue. If you could explain this to me so I can gain a better understanding of the "why" I am happy to listen.

Nothing is wrong with nav at all. We are just seeing if it would be economically viable to change to the Igo nextgen maps instead of Igo primo. It seems some are preferring that layout so we are trying to stay ahead of the curve with other units coming out with the nextgen maps.

To be fair, most when asked if they'd like their unit and do updates themselves for things that weren't done, were clamoring to just get hands on it. I do understand your point of view, though.

With time issue we tested a few units with this software and none had any issues. I guess depending on car and time zone some have had issues. We do have a new software now that we will email over to everyone hopefully tomorrow. It seems that it should fix time issue as well as obd speed to mph instead of kph

I've expressed a functionality issue with the radio functions being delayed while the Nav is on but never received a response to that so that is what I am referring to in particular. I have an issue with the time, which is the very same issue I had with the TomTop unit.

I have an issue with the missing menu items for sync. The advance map setting and profile setting is missing and is making it so I cannot receive text notifications. And have not relieved a response on that.

As of now I don't believe this has the text notification option. It may come in future update though.

It has the text notification option some people are using it. And it worked for me it is a sync function and it worked for me. Until I did a master reset of sync and then when I went to turn on the map profile the menu isn't there. So I now have to completely uninstall the unit and reinstall the old unit so I can go to the menu and turn it on then reinstall the unit again. Because the menu is missing.

I can get one once I reinstall the old unit but I don't know when that will be. Anyone on here still have there stock system in ? If you do please go to SYNC, got to SYSTEM SETTINGS, ADVANCED, MAP PROFILE. Set MAP PROFILE to ON and creat MAP PROFILE and take a screen pic please.
