If Ford Drops the V6 ...

Not bad. You should consider tuning it. That will really wake the car up. I know I raced a few when my car was stock and I barely beat them. There pretty quick IMO.

Oh, I had it tuned for a couple months. Cobb Stage 1 93. I bought the AP used off of a friend who was getting a V3 and I bought his V2. That woke the car up to a new level of torque, I couldn't keep off the boost though, and conversely burned through much more gas than I wanted to. I ran with it de-tuned for a while and realized I never really went full overboost before it was tuned and flat out felt the same as treading moderately while tuned, so I sold it and put it towards my 944.

I decided that I wouldn't mod the car further until I see whether or not the future has anything I might want to replace the car with.:headbonk:

I don't know anything about that porshe. Is that fast or just a nice cruiser car? And yeah I felt the same way about my v6 mustang but every time I mod it I like it more and more so we will see what the future holds. I definitely can't keep a car stock for long it's to boring for me.

Yep! My family is a Porsche family since 1974!

Mine is an '84. It's not really fast, but it's quick for the 80s. 150hp and weighing in around 2800lbs, it's a quick and nimble car! 119k miles and all preventative maintenance service done before purchase. Most fun I've ever had.

That is why I don't think ford will have only the ecoboost and the v8 and leave the choice to them only. I think they would lose customers that way and I doubt they want that. Now an ecoboost v6 I can see happening. And yeah the 4 cylinder Mustang is new to most of us and I'm having trouble accepting it myself but it's still badass. I would rather have that then a focus ST or a gti or most other 4 cylinder turbos out there.

I'm thinking the EB V6 could be the future top dog power plant for the mustang.
The writing's on the wall....just look at the 2017 f-150 raptor and the ford gt.
The V8 could still be available in limited edition type mustangs but hard to tell for how long.
4 and 6 cylinders......
Or I could be all wrong.

No it has 3.15 gears. I didn't know I could get 3.55 gears until after I bought the car.

For many many years the Mustang was only available with a NA 4cyl and the 5.0. The 4cyl out sold the 5.0 by a pretty big margin so I don't think there will be any issues selling 4cyl turbo Mustangs.

Yes the 3.15 gears are just fine. But if I could do it over I would get the 3.55 gears because I am looking to get the most performance out of the car as possible. Plus the option isn't much more at all.

Your probably right there wouldn't be much issues selling them but I think they would lose customers if that's the only choice that there leaving people.

You could easily add some 3.73 or some 4.10's when they come out.
