Appreciation for the V6

Do you think there will continue to be exhaust, engine, upgrades for our V6 engines and S550’s? Ive looked at other performance shops and it seems like they’re carrying less and less for our cars. I’ve been upgrading my car over the last 5 years little by little and after I get tires in the spring, I want to do some power upgrades like exhaust, Intake, headers. I’m not sure about a tune though as I have a warranty to 120k miles and like 5 years. I do want an increase that’s street legal. I just can’t afford to throw several thousand dollars at once to get there. So it will take a couple of years. Thoughts?

I don't think they will be making anymore NEW product developments. But I don't see what is already on the market being discontinued anytime soon. I can still buy parts for my 99 SVT Contour and that car is pretty much obsolete now.

I had a 2016 v6 with 355 gears and the 6r80 auto. I loved that car and the only reason I sold it was cause I bought a 19 GT. I consider the 3.7 a smaller version of the 5.0. I would have gone ecoboost on it if I kept it. The 3.7 is a great engine. congratulations on your new car it's a beaut.

I'd say the biggest change will come from the tune, no point in doing intake and headers if you're not okay with a tune.

My friend's is to eventually supercharge it, but so far it's just those. Gotta really ask him, he's kinda sorta a car guy, but more now he wants to learn stick and get a GT afterwards
