Awesome, can you give more details - how you removed the panels and how you did the stitching? I had looked into this but going by the Ford parts diagrams the dash pads appeared to be molded into the rest of the dash.
That's exactly right, the dashpads and center console/dash support are all one piece.

You have to uphoster them in the car or you can find the entire assembly on eBay for a few $ hundred.

My uphostery guy bitched about the windscreen being narrow towards the back but he managed pretty well regardless

It looks great. This one was on my list too but now I need to wait for the new car. How did your upholstery guy do it (asking since that is a one piece panel)?
