Hurst Spring Kit - THOUGHTS?

came across these on the Holley website.

big savings but couldn’t seem to find anyone that had installed them on an S550 but perhaps 1 review online.
several regarding the brand for old Mustangs and for some Dodge models.

I do eventually want to get some lowering springs on my ‘21 GT, just not now as I need to save a bit more for the install cost

However, at that price and if folks come back with positive feedback, might just snag a set ahead of time.

but the install cost is the kicker and not something I want/ can eat twice if I dont like.

I see they are Constant (Linear) type…

My car is more of a daily driver so would I want Linear or Progressive?

I think the 1” front and back drop sounds good tho.

I'd choose the Ford Performance combo over these, but it depends what you're doing.

If you just want the car a little stiffer/lower, then these will do that and probably handle a little better as well. Overall, it's a performance street package; not a track package.

Marketing says progressive drives comfier for daily drivers. Linear performs better (for those that push the car and can use the predictability of the springs to push the limits).

If it’s comfort you seek and you want to hit the progressive train, Steeda’s probably the forum favorite.

At $80 you can’t lose though, Hurst is reputable, I doubt it’ll break.

not sure on cost, I’d estimate atleast a few hundred for 2-3hrs labor + parts.

do you need struts/want to upgrade? You can get them done at the same time for basically “free” labor wise if you’re paying for spring replacement.

my car only has 16k miles on it and I wasnt planning on lowering it more than about 1” - 1.2” front and back so I should be good with the stock struts and shocks.

I would prefer the Ford dealer do the install and was hoping for a hookup on pricing since they service my car regularly.

I may have to look for the Hurst from other dealers because they seem to be a good match for what I think I would prefer which is Linear and 1” drop.

I need to check the suspension sticky and look thru the posts to see the specs on the different brands of springs.

I appreciate the feedback and chiming in
