I found this site for getting a estimate of HP based on car weight and 1/4 mile time. I know there are some variables, a lot of them, that are not accounted for, but maybe it's a ball park figure?

My car with me in it was 4,000 lbs. even the other night. I weigh about 240 lbs. and the gas tank was 1/4 full. I ran a 11.679 last Friday.

I am going to get a dyno done this week. I should know how close it is then.

Can anyone who knows your HP, car weight, and 1/4 time see if it's accurate?

I agree 100% a bad driver can make a fast car slow and there are a lot of variables not accounted for.

Conversely a bad driver cannot make a slow car fast. If said car, regardless of driver, weighs X lbs and ran Y time, does the hp needed to move that mass that distance in that time formula work?

I’m interested to see how much in the ball park that projection is.

I’m scheduled to dyno Thursday. I guess we will see how close to 496 hp the car is.

It did drop off at 7200. I thought the 5.0 pulled all the way to 7800.

Nah Gen 3 makes peak power at 7000rpm so your graph looks consistent with what you should expect since none of your mods would shift your power curve to the right. Also the scaling of the graph makes it look like a bigger drop off than it really is. Shifting anywhere from 7500-7800 would still be fastest.
