If I came across that back in '99 I would have robbed a bank to get the cash! Yeah, there were plenty of deals to be had back in the 80's and 90's on vintage Mustangs. A friend of mine sold a '68 with a 390 for around $5k in the early 90's, and I passed on a '67 fastback with 289 and four speed for $2,500 back in the mid 80's and (still kicking myself today).

Seriously, I had just quit my job to start a business back in '98, $6,900 would have been like $69 million to me then.
