How well does Sync in the base GT work with iPhones?

wow this thread jinxed me. after working flawlessly for some time, ive had 2 incidents when my phone didnt pair. the first time i just had to manually go into my phone and connect to SYNC, this morning however, even that didnt work.

it showed as connected, but sound was not coming through, and it would intermittently say phone disconnected.

i even deleted and re-paired the phone and that didn't help.

both times this issue occurred, it was below freezing temperatures. i'm hoping that's all it is.

Ok so I did a master reset during my commute home and re-paired and that didnt help. But after I refueled and restarted the car, it was working normally again. I'm hoping this wont' be a monthly occurrence like others have pointed out.

I've only had to do the reset once

mine works great, even reads me my texts. It's a iphone 6+

Hmm I have the iPhone 6+ and it tells me that my phone won't work for sending texts thru sync?

ok so it happened again (wouldn't play music through bluetooth)

i tried a sync master reset, repaired the phone, etc but none of that worked.

from what most people say, you'd have to pull the sync fuse or unplug the battery. but i went thru the manual and saw this. it worked after i did this

avoid using emojis on your contacts name, otherwise voice command wont work for that contact.
