I'm used to seeing Album art and being able to navigate by artist, album, playlist, etc in my current car when using the infotaintment system in it with my iPod.

Does MFT work similarly with an Android device?

Don't know myself.. This will be my First Ford Product with using the MFT... You'd think it would integrate with the Windows Phones the best though.

Yes, it integrates with my Android phone just fine. That is my wife's 2013 Fusion.

Incorrect. They dropped Microsoft. MFT is QNIX based, which is Blackberry.

forgot to reply to this, but the MFT hasn't switched to the QNIX system yet. Just thought u should know

MFT works well with iOS, Android, Windows, BlackBerry and "dumb phone" devices. I personally have a Windows Phone but have used the system with all three. Non of the platforms have an advantage of the other.
