voltage should be approx 12.7v charged, car off
voltage will be over 14v running/charging
90% of "battery" issues are dirty terminal connections. start there.
remove and wire brush inside of connector and battery post

best way to test battery is with a conductance tester. amazon $40-60
disconnect battery on one end to test. Tester must be config'd for flooded chemistry, and the cca of your battery. Test after posts are cleaned and car taken for a good run. 70% health is OK, <60% consider replacing

When you changed out the battery, make sure there was no corrosion on the cables or terminals, and make sure you have snug connections. I'm not real fond of the way the terminals are designed on this car, IMO not robust enough. A so-so connection on mine made the voltage reading on the dash jump all over the place until I reseated the terminals on the posts and snugged it up. I had taken great pains to clean things thoroughly, too.
