How to replace magneride ?

If magneride suspension is replace with coilovers or other shocks, how the computers are
program so modes work? If a shock is disconnected, the modes are disabled and a message shows
do not drive over 80 mph.

I dont know about our Mustang, but on my CTSV you had to install a in line resistor to keep the car from going into limp mode

my suspension make noises and behaves strange. Dealer have not been able to fix it in 4 months. no codes..
I test drive a new one, and does the the same noise at low speed small bumps! I was shocked!
I think I buy an used PP1 regular shocks, but need to fool the computers!

Hmm interesting. I've never ridden in a mag-ride car so I didn't know there would be any perceivable sound difference between that and regular gas shocks.

I bet someone would trade. you could de-activate the magride control in the PCM with forscan. Question is, how difficult is it to retrofit. I'd imagine some cars have the wiring hookups in place just like the active exhaust, but not all. If you've got the hookups ready, it's probably just a few additional modules and some forscan mods, but I'm not sure anyone has looked into it yet.

The noise you are hearing at low speeds is the internal bump stops. I have the same noise on my shelby.

How do you de activate it in the forscan?

You would need to identify which fields control the magride setup and disable them. Not sure anyone has actually tried that yet. I suspect the number of people looking to remove that feature will be relatively low. I wouldn't mind adding it, but I doubt it'd be worth the trouble.
