How rare are glass roof S197's?

Does anyone have any production figures or further info about the glass roof S197's?

Was the glass roof only available with certain option packages or Mustang trim levels?

How many years was it available?

Has anyone here ever owned a glass roof S197?

I know the '13/'14 GT500 cars had them as an option. Pretty rare and a sought after feature.
Not sure if any Mustang GT cars had that option though?

The other day I came across a 2013 GT/CS that had it - but didn't think it was still an available option across all trims or even that late into the S197 production.

I also didn't know that there was a built in roof shade either.

Just found this in another article I came across, but the figures aren't representative by model year. It was in an article about a 45th Anniversary 2009 panoramic roof Mustang:

Only 4094 Mustangs were manufactured with the factory Glass Roof option. Total model year production numbers are 3072 GT's and 1022 V6 models with a $1995 sticker price.

I wanted this option badly when I was looking at them
I’d pay double that in any car. I really prefer glass roofs over enclosed

I've seen both GTs and GT500s with the option. One was a '11 GT in Yellow Blaze, which had to be a rare car.

I wish it had been available on the S550.

Same. My cheapo Scion tC 2013 has glass roof, I love it. It feels more open and I enjoy it. My friend hates it and everytime he gets in he closes the little shutters. The Scion isn’t as nice as the panoramic roof on mustang

But after having it, I wished s550 had it.

My '07 GT500 was a vert, my first (outside Jeeps), and was a hard lesson learned over several years that I'm not a vert guy when it comes to performance cars. But a glass roof would be great.

I currently own one and I love it, it’s silver with a 4.6 v8 and lots of appearance upgrade stuff.

My son has a 13 GT500 with glass roof. I think the take rate on those was 1 in 10.

I had this option on my 2013 GT/CS. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss that car. Easily one of the coolest options I had on ANY car. I may have a few pictures kicking about...

It would've been nice if they continued this on the S550's. A bit more room for the helmet. I found a picture of my son's glass top 13 GT500. It's an all option car.

I really liked that option and agree. It would be killer if the S550 had that option, or even a targa top.
