Happy Thanksgiving guys and gals,

I have a 2015 Mustang Gt Premium and before I change anything, I'm wondering how many horses will I need to make this a 200mph car. Giving it from a stop to about 2 miles to get to 200 mph. Will I be able to do this with gt350 manifold, headers, and tune or will I need FI?

2.41, 2.56, 2.78 rear end gears.
+ power mods.
A GT 500 will do 200mph with a 3.73 gear @ 700 + Hp

Regards

Yes u need more horsepower but it’s also about aerodynamics and gearing. The less drag the less thrust is needed. And a gear in the 2.xx will also help but that’ll hurt your acceleration on the street.

Well the Idea of the 2.xx gear is that it would not require near that much HP to do the same job.

Darwin Award in the making...
Lls, nah bruh. Im kinda used to the high speeds in controlled environments. Already done over 150 in the stang and over 180 on 2's. I'll survive the 200mph in good form. I guess the next step is to grab the SC.

Where the heck are you doing these speeds? I pray not on public roads.

Makes sense. You’re already an expert. Good luck. ;).

200mph in TWO MILES? Where is a track that long?!

Shoot for 200mph at a standing 1/2 mile event. My Lamborghini does it with about 1300whp, so I would guesstimate the heavier S550 would take about 1500whp.

I think you’d need at least 650 hp to easily hit 200 in 2 miles. So yes, supercharge or turbocharge it.
