Updating my answer to this question. Before I posted I had never owned one before. Now I own a 2012 v6 with mt. Not the S550 like I had originally wanted but none the less, I am now a mustang owner.

I have never owned one previously. Thankfully j/k but I always found a reason not to want one. The headlights was my excuse for the 15s, but the reviews were too good.. plus Chris Harris' review which sealed the deal. I was going to get a fiesta st and for the price at my discount.. the GT i have with track pack and recaros was within $2500 of the fiesta. No brainer. I do love this car. Previous cars Ive had that I can relate to.. 97 Camaro SS, 98 z28, 02 SS.. still have my 93 c4 vette and a 94 zr-1. so not new to american v8s i guess :cheers:

Owned bmw 640d (lots of torque in this car), after the bmw i drove nissan 370z for around 4 years, this thing handles like formula and now i am waiting for my eu mustang to be delivered

Funny, l owned an 87' red Escort manual as well but bought it used. That was back when l was bracket racing my 70' Torino Cobra. The Escort was the first car l ever changed out a timing belt and macpherson strut.

I'm expecting my first one at the end of next month, but then again I live in Europe where mustangs were never officially imported. Until 2015 that is, but nice songs seem not to last too long because as from 2021 Ford isn't importing the mustang ecoboost anymore due to European emission legislation ...

2000 Mondeo MK2 Si with close ratio gearbox (stolen recovered, didn't like driving some one else's sloppy seconds so traded it straight away)

2007 Mondeo Diesel (2 hour commute meant MPG saved me 300 Euro a month)

It's my first real "all for me" car I have bought that wasn't compromised by financials, family, commute, work etc etc and a reward for a promotion that I had set myself as a target 10 years ago, if I ever reach x I am treating myself without feeling guilty that kids college fund was impacted

And moving across the water made it more affordable as well
