Mine was ordered november 10th, so yesterday was the first day i called ford performance to see if my car had a VIN/build date yet and the guy tells me it is on a tranport to dealer with eta of dec 31/ jan 2nd! Holy cow that was unexpected!

My order was built on 11/11 and still sits in the yard @ Flatrock. I cancelled and moved on to another brand. Not sure what the hell happened but might buy a used one some day.

FWIW, mine was built 11/17 and it just now got released for shipment. Not sure how long it will be waiting for the train; hopefully not more than a week. Definitely frustrating, but it is what it is. A couple of months from now, I'll have forgotten all about the wait.

my '16 R was built 11/19 and still awaits shipping. It had an original build date of Aug 24.

I don't have a VIN yet, but it looks like Obrien455 was able to call to check to see if he had a VIN and found out the car was already built and on the way. Thought maybe I could get that lucky also.

They can also check with the Dealer code and order number from your DORA or order sheet.

Actually, they can look up your order without a VIN, so long as you have the order number and the dealer code.

Mine was also built on the 9th with an ETA to the dealer on the 28th but I guess shipping was delayed for whatever reason and now has a new ETA of the 7th of January...oh well, not in too much of a rush at this point, at least I know it's built. I just hope it shows up with the right stuff unlike a few other unlucky track pack buyers!
