My concerns are that 350s may get pushed back due to demand of the regular mustang and need to rush their production to meet that demand rather than the niche Shelby market.
I think production is trickling out to keep interest high, balance constraints in engine supplies, and react to market information we don't see. I believe we will see more in 2 months, based on it going into the later part of this model year and how allocations are being managed now.

In my opinion, there is a lot of Mustang supply in the North American market, but perhaps RHD and other markets is where there might be a demand and supply conflict.

Maybe some of the quality issues are being heard as they trickle in to management and it takes time to implement solutions?

One can only hope!

You're not wrong, Tony. They can't build 'em fast enough for the UK and I'm sure the same goes for all the other new markets the Mustang is being sold in!

I was told 3600 and 400 for GT350 and GT350R respectively when I attended the Lime Rock GT350 experience session.

I heard the Australian allocations for regular Mustangs were sold out for 2016 and more asked for for the 2017 MY Mustang.

Yep! And our UK Ford MD has agreed quicker lead times for the UK.....not sure how that works, but I'm guessing there will either be additional batches of RHD cars built, or the batches that are already scheduled will include more cars.

I heard total run for 3 years gt350 would be approx. 5000 gt350 & 500 or so gt350R. Remember chassis number is total not same number for standard and then R. I heard those number 3-4 times from ford sources. 2017 you will see gt500 and 350 will end. Only time will tell.

It seems to me that there will not be as many built as originally projected? Ford is clearly having trouble with production, which I would have to assume will affect the total number built... Any thoughts?
No production problems, but a few transportation problems. 500 R's, and 5000 non-R's will be produced, as advertised. Already half have been delivered. The 350R production is suspended during the Winter, but that was the plan from the git-go. Carve it in granite.

If chassis numbers are correct we are at about 1800 350's and 40 350R's so far. Ford has a long way to go to meet that 5000/500 number.

Are the last four of the VIN the chassis number? If so, I'm at 1992.

Delivery ETA of 1/24-1/30. [emoji16]

Negatory chilli. Those numbers do not coincide and would be considered mutually exclusive. At least on mine they don't.:headbonk:

FTD. Do you have a window sticker or a VIN yet? I feel for you guys on the wait list. Especially, for the R. Where do you live? I'll let you drive my R-less 350, just for voodoo's sake.
