That is pretty good.. I bet you can fit maybe two fingers between the fender and the gap.It can handle a little more than 1" fine. I run the Sportlines and they are great.
Agreed!More than 1" drop is too much on this car. It upsets the suspension geometry, reduces street usability and creates an ugly non-concentric look between the wheel arch and the wheel, where the gap on the sides/bottom is wayyyyy bigger than the top.
If you like to ruin most of the good things about a performance car, drop it 1.5+"![]()
Yep. The ultralite linears have about 1.12-1.25" inch drop at each corner.
295/30/19 tires, too. I'd imagine 35 profile or 20's would look considerably more compact.@daltron that looks on the high side compared to a lot of Sportline setups I've seen (a good thing).
It's a little tough sometimes, I'll admit. While the 30/19's look good (IMO), the car is very low to the ground. My Steeda K-member is slightly less than the height of a GoPro from the ground (Yes, I knocked one over when I drove over it lol).I also care about being able to use the car every day and not freak out over parking curbs and speed bumps, in addition to the performance.
Ah that makes sense! The reduced sidewall height makes it look less slammed for sure, but it does look very good. I was going to guess around 1" or maybe a touch less drop if you hadn't said Sportlines. You're probably at almost -2" ground clearance from stock with that setup...definitely reduced daily utility. I also drive mine in winter, so that would be a total no-go.295/30/19 tires, too. I'd imagine 35 profile or 20's would look considerably more compact.

[ame]Dat stance doe!!!
Thanks!I also don't get the obsession with hiding tires under the fender. It tends to look bad, decreases performance, and makes every bump/hill a tribulation; it's not worth it. Just seems like a ricer thing that got passed on to Mustangs for some reason.
I can understand a minimal drop. For example, I think daltron's car looks great. Any lower than that and it would just look off.
