How long to receive order number

My dealer didn't ask for a deposit. He printed out a "preview order" that shows all the options and invoice price. He did a couple of them so I could see different variations, then had me sign the one I wanted so he knew which one to officially enter. It says on the bottom "This order has not been submitted to the order bank." That was 4PM Friday so it's killing me waiting for the official order number and VIN to be emailed. Wonder how long is typical for the dealer to actually send the order to Ford?

In my case when I ordered mine back in December and we were all through ordering the options I wanted the dealer requested a $2000 deposit,changed my priority number and assigned an order number,then I signed the order sheet. E-mails later showed order was confirmed on the day order was placed. I didn’t get a VIN until it was closer to the build date. I’ll finally be taking delivery tomorrow.
