How long to get a VIN?

I ordered on 2/2/15. On COTUS 2/5/15. I have a Priority 10. I thought I had read that Ford only pulls orders on Thursday? Dealer has the order on his printout and it shows a "partial VIN?"

I don't have a clue what a partial VIN is and should I stop checking COTUS until the end of this week? I'm not sure it does anything except create more questions. :headbonk:

My order has been in COTUS since 1/10/2015, and I don't have a VIN yet. I am getting impatient.

If you have an estimated delivery date, SVT_N8, then you should have a VIN. Please send me your dealer code and order number; I'll take a peek.

Yep, orders are scheduled on Thursdays, Slade. However, the Mustangs won't be scheduled this week. You won't see any changes in COTUS until the end of next week. Feel free to shoot over a PM with your dealer code and order number; I can help track your Mustang as well.

The partial VIN that your dealer is seeing are the characters that don't change. I've found this link to be helpful: VIN Example

If orders will not be scheduled for Feb 12th...it appears that new VINs won't appear until after Feb 19 at the earliest.
