When I talked to Pericak last month, he didn't expect numbers until the summer, (when is summer in MI?) but assured the group of us talking to him, that we would be very happy.
June 9th- August 10th...Guess we'll know around August!

If Ford doesn't give us ALL the details very very soon, I am going to have to get another bottle of sleeping pills, all of this drama is killing me,what is the hold up, there are 10 million people out there waiting and NO real info, and today is the 20th of May the day,the holy grail,:frusty::frusty: and we get this,OMG Ford please come clean with us.
I think you are being a little overly optimistic that there are 10million people waiting for this news, I am guessing that a small percentage of the people that will buy this car even know about the May 20th release... but I am one of them, so hurry up Damn It! :)

The dealers have the pricing. I just left the dealership. After being told all along xplan would be accepted they said it wasn't available and couldn't choose it when creating my order. Dont know how true this is. I left with no order placed. Disappointed.

I've seen that before on anticipated high demand models. I just decided to pass on the 50th LE but may be waiting even longer that I want to to order my new Mustang if this is true. Ah well, still have the Boss.

90 tempo.
I just ordered my LE about an hour ago. The only orders today are for dealer stock and LE's. The dealer doesn't care about the cost or stats, he just wants cars that he believes will sell. That is why some dealers are asking for deposits. They only get a few to order, the rest are pushed to them by the regional sales team. If you are a good customer or plunk down a deposit, they will go with a sure sell.

The reason the specs out are due to the government certs not being complete. They don't want to release numbers now and then redact them later because the EPA or NTSB made them change something. When I talked to Pericak last month, he didn't expect numbers until the summer, (when is summer in MI?) but assured the group of us talking to him, that we would be very happy.
If you dont mind us asking, what price did your dealer agree to sell you the LE for? Sticker?

Don't know if this means anything or not but found this in the 50th LE thread. I added my post in that thead below the quote. It's in reference to GVW.

Was told to contact my dealer...I asked my dealer for a copy of the DORA...He sent these, said it's what he has on my LE...They are very confusing-->

Ouch I just saw something in your order that kinda of hurts. The gross vehicle weight.

GVW 4720lbs

GVW of a 2013 premium was 4600lbs in comparison. Food for thought although I know numbers can change and aren't quite verified yet.

It also says his L.E. has a 3.55 rear end...it might not be entirely correct.

I wouldn't sweat the GVWR. Remember that it's set by the automaker and there isn't a way to calculate curb weight just given this single figure.

I know, lots of variables. GVW can stay the same while lightening the car but allowing more overall capacity. I just wanted to point out that unless capacity is increased dramatically, the 4720 gvw could be an indication of a potential weight increase.

I was in the camp of thinking we could very well have lost 100lbs of the gt (was hoping more but this was my more realistic safe guess) the increase in GVW has me concerned. (if this is indeed what ford has finalized on GVW). Normally overall GVW doesn't increase without either an increase in towing capacities or an increase in weight. Most of the time, in a car, I wouldn't expect manufacturers to change their estimates of expected cargo weight including passengers. With that said though, I think I remember it being mentioned that Ford wanted a little more cargo capacity. So we'll see, I know we all are dying for some solid specs.
