How long before we see some specs & prices?

Yes the question that begs to be asked because we are all sitting here impatiently. When are these things going to be released? It really doesn't seem like they will be released today as all (as I predicted). With the May 11th order banks date in less than a month how much longer can Ford hold onto this information.

They seriously can't wait until AFTER the May 11th date can they?

So from many of us here to Ford. NEED MOAR SPECS!!! ;)

I thought that maybe they were waiting for the 15 Challenger specs to drop first. Now that is out of the way who knows when Ford will finally release them. My hope it that they're squeezing out every bit of safe power out of each engine. Maybe even making some material tweaks to stay best in class interior wise. They have stiff competition with the Challenger for interior quality.

I love the new Mustang and look forward to getting one, but that new Challenger was pretty slick. First Dodge I would ever consider buying. About damn time these automakers pay attention to the part of the car that you look at every time you get in....
Now if only GM would do something about that horrible Camaro interior.

To be honest, the lack of information (coupled with a few comments posted elsewhere), have me thinking the May 11th date is no good. Who knows when we will actually be able to buy these cars.

My patience is just about lost at this point. I am going to test drive a '14 tomorrow morning.

Late in the game by who's schedule? Impatient fans, the general public, or Ford themselves. While it's nice to celebrate the Mustang's 50th today, it does not mean the new car has to be fully revealed today, does it? This is an important halo car to Ford, better to get the car right than worry about dates.
