How does the S550 handle in snow?

Coming from '15 STI, last year was a blast in winter, blow everyone's door off and making my own lane. Of course I can't do that anymore with mustang.

I dont even drive mine if I think its going to rain. Blizzaks are great, I had then on my Audi A4 Quattro and it was unstoppable through the snow and stopped with confidence. Like others said, get good tires, drive smart and you should be fine.

I cant quote the size exactly but I use 245/40/19 Xice Xi3 and get along just fine in the mild Kansas City winters. 1-2" at a time, if we get more than 3 or even 6 it's a major event. Start and stop is all fine, no slippage if you're easy on the gas and start in 2d gear. I have no weight in the trunk either.
I've been extremely happy with these tires, so far.

I'll put it this way: After driving my GT in the snow I went and bought a old 04 4wd grand cherokee as a secondary.

I daily mine in Michigan and just have a winter wheel/tire setup. So far the car has handled very well and I have had zero issues. Car is also a base model Performance pack so 3.73 gears and no wet/snow mode. IMO it all comes down to what tires you are running.
