How do you deal with this remarkably obtrusive unwiped area on your windshield?
This is the most unsuccessful driver side wiper blade application I have ever seen.

Just imagine this is the mud or snow!

Edit: Does anybody have the same problem?

Something is __broke__. My driver's side goes much further over to the A-pillar.
It doesn't look or feel broken.
There is no "air" in mechanism, nothing is loos and is working smoothly.
It just don't go all the way to the A-pillar.

Is there something mechanically to adjust on left blade lever?

Yea, it could be linkage.

But It does look the wiper can hit the roof, if moved all the way to A-pillar.
Can damage to the linkage somehow "prolong" the wiper arm extension and shorten the movement?

Check the lower position. The blades should be right at the special marks the windshield has, where the wipers should be parked. But yeah, sounds like your arm mechanism is messed up.

If it looks like it’s going to hit the roof if it goes any further then you may have the wrong size blade on there. Maybe the blade was switched out for some reason and the person who did screwed up the linkage. Maybe?

Check to make sure:

1) correct length blades are installed
2) nothing is damaged with the linkage
3) at full rest the wiper arms and blades should be at their “parked” position marked on the glass as stated above

Something is definitley amiss with your wipers, the driver side should swipe almost to within 2” of the A-pillar.

It’s a 2019, take it in for warranty work - that issue should fall under the 3/36 B2B.

Is moving to Southern California and getting a second car for rainy-day driving an option?

Yes. This would be far enough for me, too.

Could you help me please with the correct length of the blades by measuring yours?

Thank you for the invitation 😊!
Nice thought to move to the place with better weather. But too drastic for me.

Actually I'm not driving my Mustang on heavy rain or over the winter. That's why I've notice this malfunction that late. Pictures were made on the way to garage, where horse rests till spring.

But even then I would like to have a good working wipers.
