I was lucky enough to get tagged by a rock on the freeway last week, and then have the windshield crack all the way across. After having it replaced, the mirror now vibrates excessively while driving over rough road, lane change dots, etc. I can't find any diagrams of how the mirror attaches to the mount...does anybody know? I'd rather fix it than have to take it back to the glass place. The mirror doesn't seem to move and is firmly affixed to the windshield. Any help would be appreciated!

I unfortunately had to replace my windshield as well. They used to be held on with a spring clip but mine was held on by a set screw... the screw might just not be tightened enough.

I'll look around for that set screw. Thanks
