As someone who plays a lot of word with friends, I'm at a loss for words.

Hahahaha it's so funny because I made this post while I was on the bus.

Sadly it was a serious question. This gt is the first I've ever purchased myself and have tried to take care of. I'm also the only person in small family who cares about cars. Needless to say most of what I've learned has been from various Internet sources.

Anyway thanks for the help guys
Well, sorry about that, I meant my question seriously. Everybody starts somewhere, I just didn't want to answer if it was a joke.

As mentioned, the valve is spring loaded so air will not escape even with the cap off. The plastic cap is just meant to keep dust and dirt out of the valve.

The pressure sensor is on the other end of the valve stem inside the wheel. Here's a picture of one.

Thanks for the picture and info. This helps put my mind at ease! Guess I'll just go buy some super cheap replacement covers to keep everything clean.

I'm choosing to believe its serious, and because of that, it's the single best thread/post I've ever read.

LMFAO, I am surprised with his IQ he can
afford to buy a GT. . .maybe he is pulling our leg

Agreed, I'd imagine most wouldn't have replied, or been super defensive/safe space about it.

Gotta learn sometime. Google is king :)
Maybe googling brought him to this forum....:D

But his third question is valid.... Who the fuck steals valve stem covers???? Espacially the cheap OEMs.
