Does anyone have a comparison of the actual output on the road?

Hey Arsenal, It looks like you have the tint kit on your car, do you have it on the headlights, & did you change your bulbs out? Im just trying to get a little more brightness/see better since i tinted the lights since i have no fog lights to assist :-)

I've tried to get decent pics but you just really can't capture the difference well at all on camera. You can see the color difference but I never could get a decent depiction of the clarity of objects in the distance.

I was told you dont have to pull the front end to change the headlight bulbs out, there is access through tthe wheel well just like changing the direction bulbs

Everyone that has tried that method says it was a complete PITA and need to have small hands

It may be just me, but I thought the factory lights were pretty white. I have people all the time flashing me because they think I have my brights on (imagine the surprise when I flash em back!). What gives?

Short Answer:
Removing the bumper will make swapping HID bulbs much easier! With the bumper off, you’ll have direct access to the headlight housing, bypassing the need to remove the wheel-well brace.

Key Tips:

Compatibility Check

Ensure your new HID bulbs (higher Kelvin = bluer light, e.g., 5000K→6000K) match your ballast’s wattage and connector type.

Safety First

Never touch the glass of HID bulbs with bare hands (oil degrades them). Use gloves or a clean cloth.

Visibility Trade-Off

Higher Kelvin bulbs (e.g., 8000K) look cooler but emit less usable light – balance aesthetics with functionality.

Test & Align

After installation, check beam alignment to avoid blinding other drivers.

Bonus: While the bumper’s off, clean the headlight lenses or apply a UV sealant to restore clarity.
(Your splitter install just became a 2-in-1 project!) 🔧💡
