Wondering just how much more crap gets into the engine compartment while driving. Especially in inclement weather.

In my case (only opening the air box side) no extra crap gets into the engine compartment - all the extra crap (and air) is collected by the big mouth and fed straight into the airbox.
I am then reliant on a AEM dry filter to decide what's crap and what's air and what it lets through to the engine

In the engine bay? None.
On top of the underbelly tray? Depends on what kind of conditions you drive in. But not much gets past the condenser and radiator to get to the actual engine.

Itās called shaving, but you do it with any good power tool. The Fiesta/Focus ST guys have been doing this for years.
