I expect that in the next couple of weeks, things should look very different around there. Paint work (interior and exterior) should be complete and the cabinet doors, drawers and pulls should be done. Apparently, there were some cosmetic blemishes on the cabinet doors which are being addressed.
Electrical work is about 99% complete. We’re just waiting on a special receptacle for the lift and a breaker swap with the correct amperage for the mini split.
Garage floors are scheduled to be coated in the second week of October. Garage #1 (2 car garage) will be coated in a color called Rocky Point and the shop area will be clear to retain an industrial look. See samples here.

Couple more videos from today. The lighted vanity mirrors and chandelier were installed in the master bath. Painters are still getting after it with touch-ups. It’s been raining the last few days, so they’re focused on interior work. The outside will look much different soon (hopefully by early to mid next week). We’re very close to completion now!

The garage floors are done! The guys at Garage Force put in 24 hours of work over the last two days shot blasting, diamond grinding and applying the coatings to give us a very nice finished product.
We went with a full chip system and a color called Rocky Point in the 2 car garage and an industrial look for the shop. I actually like the vibe that I get from this look just standing in there and I think I’ll like it even more once I can get to work on my projects. The products used (CycloSpartic) are made in house by Garage Force themselves.

Ok Adrian, you and I have been doing this dance for a while. When it’s completely done just let me know and I’d love to come and visit and check out the house and check out the car if you are up for it.

lol, I personally built both of our two new builds, so didn’t have to worry about subcontractors showing up suddenly…was way easier to complete the break-in periodWho says they haven’t already…
