I apologize for hurting your feelings. I understand I need to temper my remarks. Truth is, ALL major muscle cars made in history have ALL been noisy.
It’s a fact of muscle cars. But, if you’re a youngster you would not necessarily know that.
For the benefit of those looking back at this thread, please be aware that the more extreme performance versions of just about any car bring with it a plethora of possible mechanical noises. The quality these cars bring is embraced by few and intolerable to many. What’s actually a bit funny is some of the most amazing muscle cars ever built sounded like they were literally falling apart at idle. No comparison to the M1 which is a Cadillac in comparison.
First time I heard a real muscle car (69 GTO running a 455 with a monster cam) I thought it was a POS because it sounded like it was misfiring and the whole car was shaking. My dad told me to lower my voice and explained that car would gap the 289 mustang we were riding in

@AZ_Ryan I here what your saying. This is my first muscle car ever. And honestly, thank you to everyone that chimed in. I gained a lot of insight with this post. I've thought plenty of times that it was just my car that made all these weird noises. I don't have the Mach 1. But the GT PP1 is a whiny bitch. At times it's almost as if she's got a SC.
My PP1 has loud gear whine when on the throttle. Every set of ford 3.73s I’ve had do that.

Yeah I've had plenty of muscle cars including 7 mustangs new and old. The gen 3 coyote is by far the noisiest. I knew that was a thing going in, but wasn't quite prepared for this many quirks. It's definitely a chatty engine, but highly enjoyable nontheless. 👍🏻

The BB GM assortment was amazing back then. I was running the equivalent Olds 442 coupe with the 455 W-30 cam in the W-29. That was an absolute Beast. It literally melted the pavement.

Do you have the 6 speed? I don't know how the A10 is but normally 6 speed transmission have more mechanical noises and I kind of like that aspect of it. Also depends on the drivetrain, a beefy V8 6 speed will be much noisier than lets say a Honda Civic with little baby teeth in the transmission. lol

It's an A10. The time that I notice it being the noisiest is when idling after getting on it.

Im still getting used to these gen 3 coyotes. They have to be some of the noisiest engines out there with the 2k rattle, BBQ tick, and overall DI clicking...

Anyway I'm curious if anyone else gets idle noise like I do when the car is hot. No, it's not the BBQ tick. It's more of a low chugging/vague tapping that comes on when the engine is warm especially after getting on the throttle and then sitting at an intersection. It's not exhaust or the DI clicking. You hear it inside the cabin and I can feel it rhythmically in the gear shift, with or without the stick in gear. Weirdly, you can't hear it outside the car and it never happens on start up. Only when hot and sitting at a stop light.

I've checked the oil and its full. As far as I know, it's still on the factory fill. I'm at 5500 miles.
Open element air intakes will allow a lot of sounds from cylinder-cylinder cross talk. BEV's are stacking up on dealer lots if you want something that doesn't remind you you're alive.

The A10 is noisy, mine makes noises from 3 to 1st when I’m stopping and when I’m in idle after driving in sport +. I don’t worry too much, because my 2018 EB PP1 had the same noises and did not had any issues before trading in it at 30,000 miles.
