Hoping for an assist [decklid badge mounting]

Hey guys, was hoping if anyone had factory decklids around? I wanna check the rear for where the badge pins line up in the mounting holes so i drill them in accurately... don't wanna mess it up and I'm not 100% confident in what I'm trying to do here 😅

basically just wanna find out if the factory holes are in dead centre of the clearence holes in the back or not.

I wouldn't mess with drilling, just use adhesive to attach. That decklid is VERY brittle, and you may run the risk of cracking it.

If the emblem has the tabs, just snip them off and sand the remaining nubs smooth.

^ This is the way. 3M VHB is your friend here.

Yeah I would go the 3M route which also means you can reverse the mod at any time and be left with a nice blank panel :sunglasses:

If you need anymore convincing, you can't spot through from the back anyway as the holes aren't concentric :
