Hood swap

Are the hoods swappable? Lets say a GT350 to a base GT? Or any combination...GT to a V6. How important is the year?

I don't believe the GT350 hood will work with any other car, because of the fenders and changes to the front end of the car. An Ecoboost/V6/GT hood will swap with no problem, though only by S550.1 or S550.2, e.g, between 2015 and 2017 cars, and between 2018+ cars. The GT350 and GT500 use 2015 headlights, so that's an additional change.

There are aftermarket solutions available, if you're going for a certain look.
