Battery swap

I'm curious if anyone has swapped out there stock battery for a braille battery? My buddy just replaced his battery in a 14 camaro ss with one, I couldn't believe how small it was and weighing in at just under 8lbs compared to the stock 30 something. Looks about the size of a motorcycle battery, just trips me out. Seems like a nice mod to help shed a lil weight.
Would there be any negative side effects, which one should I be looking at?
