Interesting! So I assume when driving things including rain gets diverted by the grooves going to the side?
I believe the grooves are there for the purpose of installing an add on duct they sell that would divert all of the air that comes in through those openings straight into the air box.

I'm betting the original owner still has the OEM hood standing in the corner of his garage, or put it up for sale.
That hood looks great, I wouldn't mess with it.

Raise your seat up.
Lol! I did!
Wow you guys are really great. Being 63 kind of hinders you on keeping up with you "young" brains. But at least I still "feel the need, the need for speed!"

That’s got bolt holes all around the front edge and the diverters - pretty sure that’s designed for a flat piece to bolt on so it rams all the incoming air straight into an open topped filter box ?

Keep it, give it a chance. I'm a tad biased because I love those super snake type hoods. I'm all but certain you'll get used to it quickly and as others have said, with OEM hood you can't see the front anyway, the body sort of falls away.
This ^
It looks quite nice, no excessive fender/bumper gap, aggressive but not over the top - it suits the car.
👌

I agree. Just have to see it or have the dealer take a pics. Might get the car sat or next tues.

I have the same hood and the under hood ram air vent that you can buy from Cervinis will close off the view into the engine and direct air over a CAI if you add one. I have zero trouble seeing over it. I love the look.

Looks great! So no issues seeing the top of the hood?

The hood looks good imo. I'm 5'2" and have my seat all the way up so I can see from the stock hood 😂

you'll get used to it if you decide to keep that.

Hi Folks

I am in the process of acquiring the PP2 in the pic. It's a 2019 with only 5K miles. I test drove it today and LOVE IT. The only thing that kinda bothers me about the car is the hood. I think it looks good. But driving it kind of "gets in the way" being higher than stock. You can't see the front.
Its fiberglass and the paint looks good. But just thinking about replacing it with stock.

The Ford dealer I called JUST IN CASE I want to replace quoted 912.00 for a stock hood minus paint.

Should I leave it? What you guys think? I probably could get used to it.

Keep it, now you have room for a Cobra Jet intake!
