And how is your taste so different then mine when we both like American muscle & sports cars? For the record, I've owned cars that would beat your GT350 in any kind of a race, but I am open minded enough to appreciate other well-executed, albeit less high-performance vehicles for what they are.

The Accord is an absolute worry-free pleasure to drive when when you aren't in Billy Bad-Ass mode...it's comfy, smooth, well-built, has great standard features, is very roomy, has great visibility, handles well, is great in the snow, gets great MPG, etc etc...all for a very reasonable price.

There's a trade-off with everything. The Accord excels at finding that balance in between.

Unfortunately, you are far too narrow-minded to understand any of this.

The only "piece of work" here is you and your comical post. The points you mentioned are the bare minimum for a vehicle these days. A Honda Accord is just like a Camry; it's a boring appliance that is good for absolutely nothing. And no, Honda Accords are not "good in the snow". That's the biggest joke I've ever heard. You also can't take "sweepers" at 80MPH in any Honda; you only lying to yourself to try and justify your purchase of a worthless vehicle. I'm sure your fellow Americans will thank you for sending your money to Japan instead of buying the better vehicle from an American company.

If you think Accords can go 200K or more, you're on drugs. Honda has the worst transmissions in the entire automotive industry, and they've been that way for the past 15 years. When the New York Times notices a trend and publishes an article about how bad Honda transmissions are, you know they are garbage. The majority of Honda models don't make it past 75K miles without transmission issues:

Have fun when those Takata airbags blow up in your face and mangle and/or kill you. They are ALL defective, and Honda knew about it since 2004. They covered up the defect for over 10 years, and now they are are simply recalling the bare minimum to make the feds happy. Even the brand new models (like your 2015) have Takata ammonium nitrate inflators. The fact that you are okay putting your family in a vehicle like that and supporting a scumbag company like Honda says a lot about your character; you obviously just don't care.

Fords never have transmission issues, right? My Honda has 265k on the Odo and it uses no oil. It has basic suspension mods but will hang with my PP car in the curves.

the new civic si with the turbo should be closer to what you are expecting.

Exactly why I traded my 2013 Accord for a 2015 Audi. Plus the Honda felt like it was made out of cardboard. On paper it seemed like a good choice...fuel economy, features, etc... but after sometime of ownership I felt like everything about it was weak and boring. Even the dang stereo was blah.
Far different than my lovable 1997 Accord SE that I had back in the day.

Jd power stats are bullshit. They are not the true testament of a vehicles life. Not even close. Ive worked at 4 dealerships listed on the list as a master tech. That whole list is dumb and out of order in my experience. Bmws are shitboxes and definitely not more reliable then a ford. I don't believe for a second that Jd stats are truthful.

Likely you loved the 97 more because your perspective was totally different at that time. When we were younger we appreciate cars we own much more. We get far more picky as we age.

Not sure where the cardboard comment comes from, our 2015 Accord feels very solid. Panel fitment is good, materials feel good, zero rattles, handling is solid with minimal flex, the doors shut with a nice thump etc., etc.

Of course an Audi will feel more premium, but Audi offers less bang for the buck and they are FAR less reliable then Honda's, generally speaking.

It's too bad too because I was considering an S3, but the expected reliability turned me away....plus I realized for the money, that a loaded S550 Mustang would be a much better bang for the buck.

As of now I'm still holding on to my 2012 GT though, as it's still keeping me plenty happy

Ive been a master tech for over 3 decades. Try again. Ive also never been fired from a dealership or asked to quit.

Studies arent always "facts".

I think you misunderstand. It's a percent off all f150s left on the road. In other words 6 percent of every F150 made will reach the 200K mark! The fact that they make more of them speaks volumes of how good they actually are.

ONCE AGAIN guys, it's F250's (Super Duty) not the F150's. I wish they meant the F150's as I own one!
The F250's last longer because they are specifically built to last longer...that's where that whole "Super Duty" thing comes into play ;)
