Anybody know of a how to for getting rid of them without screwing anything up?

They start off looking nasty & keep getting worse every time you climb in the car.

I cut some matte vinyl to cover them. I can't/won't sell these (liability), but the stock sticker is about 125mm x 105mm. I cut the vinyl to 135mm x 115mm. Get some craft vinyl or drawer liner sticker paper and roll yer own. :)

The matte vinyl is still a bit too shiny IMHO.

There was a time when these safety nazi stickers could simply be peeled off. I moved one from the new car to the government mandated plastic wheeled trash can we must use in my town.

However on recent cars they are permanent. Most of my visors have been a cloth material of some sort. The craft department at Wal Mart can sell you sheets of felt with a sticky backing that can, if not completely disguise, make that sticker and the visor much less conspicuous. Try that, it is a cheap experiment that works for me.

Sorry for the shitty pic but I simply peeled mine off with a little heat and automotive goo gone. Ranchero I busted that myth.

I would have never thought you could do that after looking at mine.

Ok, I have three or so viable options now. You folks are good!!

Is the peel em off method a nerve wracking process where you are worried about screwing up, or does it go pretty easy?

It's not bad I done it with the visors still in the car. I didn't want to break any clips trying to take the visors out. Just go slow with it or you will stretch the visor. I turned the cars heat on after I peeled the label off and used a lot of elbow grease and goo gone and a microfiber towel to rub the glue off but I'm happy with it. No vinyl to cut and didn't have to take my visors out.
