I'm at 98,000 miles on my 2015 GT perf. pack premium.
got it two years ago with 20k on the odometer. I DAILY this thing and it has been pretty reliable all through out, except right now I'm having trouble with a misfire code.

What’s the code? Have you ever had the intake manifold replaced? Common failure is one set of intake manifold runner controls failing (the control rod snaps at the actuator) and will cause a check engine light and you will feel misfiring under cruise, light/moderate acceleration. WOT won’t be affected. Intake manifold assembly has to be replaced. Check my threads out, I made one about a year ago.

So I took it to ford and they said the code (P0300) sooooo then they say it is my cats causing the issue, I have never heard of that??? I am going to pull my manifold off and check the runners, I personally feel it is the runners and if thats the case then Im upgrading to 18 ported mani.

Is your car still under warranty? Guessing the intake won’t be covered at this point.. perfect excuse to upgrade.

Did they suggest why they thought it was the cats?

So I hopped in the other day and I noticed I finally hit 100k miles on my 15 GT premium performance pack. But truthfully I have more or less kept it stock with a few bolt ones and it has been reliable the entire way, not trans issues no ticking or knocking, one of my cats clogged up on me and got headers and a tune and that’s it no more major issues. Considering I daily this car, and I mean DAILY it.

I’m curious to know how many miles you guys have or if there’s anyone else out there with a lot of miles on thier S550?

Besides oil changes, have you done any other maintenance?

I've owned my 18 GT since August 2018 and have only put 13k on it in 21 months. She had the blower installed at 3k. :)

Yes sir, I have done my oil changes every 10k or so with full synthetic only and I changed my trans and diff fluid at 60k and I have been thinking it’s time for a complete flush, I’ll be honest I love my car and I try to take care of it as best I can but I won’t ever garage it, no offense to those who chose to or just weekend drive it but I worked hard for mine and I want to enjoy every second of it so it forgive it being dirty and some issues people won’t agree with.

Looks good @Christang.GT Especially for mileage and DD.

just keep up with maintenance (fluids across the board plus filters, all). And you’re not blowing Red RPMs at every light stop, you’re chances of making it are solid.

My goal is to hit 500whp NA and drive it until the wheels fall off, but we shall see. Might need to upgrade the gaskets and some internals just for safe keeping but I will keep updating for those who want to see just how far these coyotes can go.

You saying 10K between oil changes. I must ask what brand ? I changed to full synthetic after the break-in, the most I see is 5K, tops.

With the Mustang rethinking the full synthetic, and mixed blended deal. 1990 When full synthetic was all the rage opt in. Full synthetic, I notice the harder you drive it that 5k drops off 500 miles. A mixed blend could be a happy medium with a more consistent lubrication.

Now having the Mustang and Ford dumping a mixed blend in them off the line. Also knowing the key to oil changes is the oil change. I can live with less time between changes.
