High idle after engine reaches 180 temp.

Hello Everyone,


I am currently looking for troubleshooting suggestions.

The car: 2015 Mustang gt with a Hellion twin turbo kit.

The issue: When I start the car everything is normal. Normal idle (800)on a cold start. I'll let the car warm up, and when it reaches 180+ temp on head cylinder. The idle starts to climb and will level out at 1800 to 2200 rpm.

Things I've done: While I am not sure its a vacuum leak, I've searched high and low. I've done a KAM rest. Cleaned the MAF sensor.

Would a boot leak cause this issue?

Get with whoever tuned your car and ask there help.

Update. A major boost leak was the cause. I had forgotten to tighten one of the boots going to the bottom of a turbo. It had come off.
